When you are used to ride under bridges, on wet outdoor spots with 0°C or hang out in shady underground parkings in winter, an indoor contest is a great opportunity to leave these places for a weekend to ride and hang out with friends. So did I last weekend and made the trip to Malte Orth’s FIGHT THE WINTER contest in Göttingen, Germany.

Thanks to Martin from global-flat.com for the hospitality and the wifi, Sasha for being a great bus driver, Malte for organizing a dope comp and everybody there for a great time.

Last month HERESY was voted “Brand Of The Year” on Flatmatters.com, an award we received with great appreciation of the support we got from all voters and everyone riding our products all over the world, watching our little videos, also all our shops and distributors (EZCO/Le Comptoir, Flatland Fuel, 430/Decade, Agun BMX). Special thanks to our dear contributors Tom (Sevisual), Sonny Blake, and The G…for their amazing work all year long.

It is actually hard to believe that what was once just an idea thrown in the air of a warm 2010 summer night in Vienna after a long riding session, is more alive than ever ! Thank you all, we love riding and we know you do too. Peace and Roll !
