2015 was turbulent. Not always in a untroubled, peaceful or painless way. Over and over I had to relearn to look forward and keep going my way. Memories will stay but, like these clips, it’s good to leave things in 2015 … SG

FLATLAND FANATICS
Last weekend the Flatland Fanatics Contest took place in Stadthagen, a small town close to Hannover in Germany. I made the trip there and brought back a few impressions of the dope event.

HERESY – LIGHT
George sprained his foot after 30 minutes of riding on our first day and could barely walk the rest of our stay in Vienna. We kind of knew he could ride without pegs but one thing we learnt on this trip is his ability to do some tricks with one well and able foot only. We had to be bridge rats again because of heavy rain and strong wind, we were cold but we ate goulash and we were sore in the morning…but we loved every minute of it.

SONNY BLAKE – HEX
Dear all, some of you may have noticed our recent collaboration work with Sonny Blake (aka Michael Sommer—to the non-riders out there, an extraordinary ex-pro flatlander from Austria) in our videos “The 5th of September” & “Beneath”.
Well, Sonny is back with a 7 tracks album (6 + 1 hidden track when purchased) of his signature blackened ambient electronics/drone/metal/post rock thing and it is actually way more than just these “tags”.
