Today I’m very happy to announce that Matthieu Bonnécuelle joins HERESY.

Young french Matthieu lives in the south of France, his hometown is Onet-le-Château near Rodez, in the heart of beautiful & mystic Aveyron. He loves riding, obscure music and his friends—and we love him. Filming in progress. Check his interview in the riders section.

We’ve known Michael for years, together it’s possible to have conversations both about riding bikes and Sunn O))) or Neurosis, so as he got more and more into producing music these past years, the idea came naturally to us to collaborate on some videos original soundtracks. The idea was to take our influences and create music that would go past these influences and fit Heresy like a glove. It probably sounds like a too ambitious idea but at least we had to try. M. BLAKE came on board with his own vision too, both worlds met and in the end the gates were open…  AD

I’ve known Matt Coplon since around 1996…I was helping out a friend who had a small DIY punk/hardcore record distribution in France. Matt was the singer of a band called REVERSAL OF MAN. We exchanged letters to distribute his records. We didn’t even know we were both riding BMX until one of us mentioned it in one of these letters. I think I ended up going to Tampa in 1998 and was blown away by the music scene there, even more than the riding. Matt was one of the first Heresy supporters out there, please check what he has to say about his latests projects. True combat wounded veteran !
